QHow much do I earn per sale?
Creators earn 25% of the total product price at checkout, excluding transaction fees and shipping. For example, a $60 hoodie earns you $15.
QDo I earn from every sale, or only through my affiliate link or code?
You earn from every sale in your collection. If someone buys you and another creator's merch in the same order, everyone will earn their respective fair share!
QAre my designs publicly listed, or only accessible through my personal link?
Your designs are publicly listed in the store catalog. Customers can find and buy your products without ever using your personal link.
QHow is my 25% calculated exactly?
Your 25% is based on the total sale price at checkout. Standard processor fees (PayPal, credit card, etc.) are deducted first, then your cut is calculated on the remainder. Shipping is excluded.
QAre there any hidden costs or fees?
None. Any import duties or taxes on orders are the buyer's responsibility in their country, not yours.
QIs there a minimum number of sales required?
No. There are no minimum sales or order requirements, ever. Made-to-order means your collection stays active as long as you want with no pressure.
QHow do I get paid?
Payments are sent via PayPal.
QWhen do payouts go out?
Payouts are sent on the 1st of every month.
QDo I need to handle my own taxes?
KatDragonz collects sales tax where required by law. As a creator, you're responsible for your own personal income tax or VAT in your country on what you earn.
QDo I need a business license or LLC?
No. No business registration, LLC, or tax ID is required. Individuals are welcome.
QWhat file types do you need from me?
Provide high-quality artwork with commercial/merch rights. transparent PNGs, PSDs, or similar. KatDragonz handles all print formatting from there.
QShould I resize or adjust my artwork's resolution before uploading?
No, please upload your files as-is. We'll let you know if we need a different version. Adjusting files beforehand can cause quality issues down the line.
QWhat's the minimum canvas size for the booba mousepad?
The minimum is 813 × 964 px. Bigger is better, so a file like 2539 × 3011 at 300 DPI is perfect and does not need to be resized down.
QFor standees with multiple layers, do I submit each layer separately?
Yes. Submit each layer as a separate image. Do not combine them into a single PNG.
QShould I create subfolders for items with multiple assets (sticker sheets, dangling keychains, etc.)?
Don't create subfolders unless we ask you to. Upload everything to the folder we provide and let the mockup team organize it. Each artist has their own process, and pre-organizing can cause complications.
QCan I specify placement for my art on mugs, tumblers, hoodies, and T-shirts?
Yes. Describe or sketch your vision when you open your ticket and the mockup team will do their best to match it. For mugs and tumblers, place your art where you want it in the file and leave the rest blank. Placement details are handled during the mockup process.
QCan I change the embroidery color on beanies independently from the beanie color?
Yes. For example, a white design going on a white beanie can have its embroidery switched to black, just let us know what you're looking for.
QCan I use the same piece of artwork across multiple products?
Yes, it's your merch. You're free to use the same artwork on as many different products as you'd like.
Yes. You receive mockups and previews before anything is published. You can request changes before approving.
QHow long does production take?
Most orders follow standard timelines. Acrylic keychains, pins, standees, dakimakura, and booba mousepads typically take longer due to their production complexity.
QWhere are products manufactured?
We use facilities in both the U.S. and internationally, chosen to optimize shipping speed for customers.
QIs there any inventory risk for me?
None. Everything is made-to-order, so no unsold stock, no inventory, no risk. If a supplier discontinues a product type, we update or remove the listing and notify you.
QDoes KatDragonz own my artwork?
